8. Não temam, nem se assustem; não lhes avisei desde então e não lhes declarei? Vocês são as minhas testemunhas. Há algum Deus além de mim? Não, não há Deus; não conheço nenhum.
21 Lembrem-se destes, ó Jacó, e Israel, porque tu és meu servo. Eu te formei. Tu és meu servo. Ó Israel, tu não serás esquecido por mim.
22 Eu tenho apagado, como uma nuvem espessa, tuas transgressões e, como uma nuvem, teus pecados. Retorna para mim, porque eu tenho te redimido.
23 Cantai, ó vós, céus, porque o SENHOR tem feito isto. Gritai, vós partes baixas da terra. Irrompei em canto, vós montes, ó floresta, e cada árvore dela, porque o SENHOR tem redimido Jacó e glorificado a si mesmo em Israel.
28. Ele é meu pastor e realizará toda a minha vontade. Dizendo a Jerusalém: Tu serás edificada. E para o templo: Teu fundamento será lançado.
8. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
21. Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23. Sing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
28. He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

9 ... A nenhum homem na terra chameis de vosso pai, porque um só é o vosso Pai, o qual está no céu.

3 A palavra do Senhor veio expressamente a Ezequiel o sacerdote,
1 ... Os céus se abriram, e eu tive visões de Deus.
4 E eu olhei, e eis que um redemoinho de vento veio do norte, uma grande nuvem, e um fogo se revolvendo, e um brilho estava sobre ele, e saía do seu meio como cor de âmbar, que saía do meio do fogo.
28 Esta era a aparência da semelhança da glória do SENHOR. E quando eu a vi, caí sobre minha face, e ouvi uma voz que falou.
3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest,

4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
28 This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
2 E o Espírito entrou em mim, quando ele falava comigo, e me pôs sobre meus pés, para que eu ouvisse aquele que falava comigo.
3 E me disse: Filho do homem, eu te envio aos filhos de Israel, a uma nação rebelde que se rebelou contra mim; eles e seus pais têm transgredido contra mim, até o dia de hoje.
4 Porque eles são filhos impudentes e duros de coração. Eu te envio a eles, e tu lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS.
5 E eles, quer ouçam ou deixem de ouvir, (porque eles são uma casa rebelde), mesmo assim, hão de saber que houve um profeta entre eles.
6 E tu, filho do homem, não os temas, nem temas as suas palavras; ainda que sarças e espinhos estejam contigo, e habites entre escorpiões; não temas as suas palavras, nem te assustes com os seus olhares, embora sejam uma casa rebelde.
8 Mas tu, filho do homem, ouve o que eu te digo: Não sejas rebelde como aquela casa rebelde:

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house:

2 Filho do homem, profetiza contra os pastores de Israel, profetiza e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Deus aos pastores: "Ai dos pastores de Israel que apascentam a si mesmos! Não devem os pastores apascentar as ovelhas?"
4 As adoentadas não fortalecestes, nem curastes aquelas que estavam enfermas, nem ligastes aquela que estava quebrada, nem trouxeste novamente aquela que havia se desgarrado, nem buscastes a que estava perdida; mas com força e com crueldade as dominaste.
5 E elas estavam espalhadas, porque ali não há pastor, e elas se tornaram alimento para todos os animais do campo, quando estavam espalhadas.
6 ... E nenhum procurou ou buscou por elas.
9 Portanto, ó vós pastores, ouve a palavra do SENHOR:
12 Como o pastor busca o seu rebanho, no dia em que ele está entre suas ovelhas que estão espalhadas; assim Eu buscarei as minhas ovelhas, e Eu as livrarei de todos os lugares onde elas estiveram espalhadas no dia nublado e escuro.
14 Eu as alimentarei em um bom pasto, sobre os altos montes de Israel será o seu aprisco;
25 E eu farei com eles um pacto de paz, e farei cessar da terra os animais perversos;
26 "E eu farei deles, e dos lugares ao redor sobre a minha colina, uma bênção;
30 Assim, eles saberão que eu, o SENHOR seu Deus, estou com eles,

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
6 …and none did search or seek after them.
9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be:
25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land:
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing;
30 Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them,

2 E, pela manhã cedo, ele voltou novamente ao templo, e todo o povo vinha até ele; e, assentando-se, os ensinava.
12 ... dizendo: Eu sou a luz do mundo; quem me segue não andará em trevas, mas terá a luz da vida.
28 Eu nada faço de mim mesmo; mas como o meu Pai me ensinou, falo estas coisas.
29 E aquele que me enviou está comigo; o Pai não me tem deixado sozinho, porque eu faço sempre as coisas que lhe agradam.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
12 …saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
28 I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
7 Na verdade, na verdade, eu vos digo: Eu sou a porta das ovelhas.
9 ... se algum homem entrar por mim, ele será salvo, e entrará e sairá, e achará pastagens.
10 Eu vim para que tenham vida e a tenham em abundância.
14 Eu sou o bom pastor, e conheço as minhas ovelhas, e nas minhas eu sou conhecido.
15 Assim como o Pai me conhece, também eu conheço o Pai; e eu dou a minha vida pelas ovelhas.
16 E eu tenho outras ovelhas que não são deste aprisco; a essas também me importa conduzir, e elas ouvirão a minha voz; e haverá um rebanho, e um pastor.
27 As minhas ovelhas ouvem a minha voz, e Eu as conheço, e elas me seguem;
28 e Eu dou-lhes a vida eterna, e nunca hão de perecer, e nenhum homem as arrancará da minha mão.
29 Meu Pai, que as deu a mim, é maior do que todos; e nenhum homem pode arrancá-las da mão de meu Pai.
30 Eu e o meu Pai somos um.
7 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
9 …by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
34 Vinde, benditos de meu Pai, herdai o reino que vos está preparado desde a fundação do mundo:
34 Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
2 Alimentai o rebanho de Deus, que está entre vós, assumindo o cuidado dele, não por força, mas voluntariamente;
3 Nem como senhores sobre a herança de Deus, mas como exemplo para o rebanho.
4 E quando o sumo Pastor aparecer, recebereis uma coroa de glória que não sumirá.
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly;
3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Assim como uma gota d'água é uma com o oceano, um raio de luz é um com o sol, assim também Deus e o homem, Pai e filho, são um só ser.
As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light one with the sun, even so God and man, Father and son, are one in being.
Na Ciência, o homem é fruto do Espírito. O belo, o bom e o puro constituem sua ancestralidade. Sua origem não se encontra, como a dos mortais, no instinto bruto, nem ele passa pelas condições materiais anteriores a para alcançar a inteligência.
O Espírito é sua fonte primitiva e última de ser; Deus é seu Pai, e a Vida é a lei do seu ser.
In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. His origin is not, like that of mortals, in brute instinct, nor does he pass through material conditions prior to reaching intelligence. Spirit is his primitive and ultimate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.
A primeira exigência desta Ciência é: "Não terás outros deuses além de mim". Este "mim" é Espírito. Portanto, o mandamento significa isto: Não terás inteligência, vida, substância, verdade ou amor, senão aquilo que é espiritual. A segunda é semelhante a esta: "Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo".
É preciso compreender plenamente que todos os homens têm uma só Mente, um só Deus e Pai, uma só Vida, Verdade e Amor.
A humanidade se tornará perfeita à medida que esse fato se tornar evidente, a guerra cessará e a verdadeira fraternidade entre os homens será estabelecida. Não tendo outros deuses, não se voltando para nenhum outro senão a única Mente perfeita para guiá-lo, o homem é a semelhança de Deus, puro e eterno, possuindo aquela Mente que também estava em Cristo.
The first demand of this Science is, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." This me is Spirit. Therefore the command means this: Thou shalt have no intelligence, no life, no substance, no truth, no love, but that which is spiritual. The second is like unto it, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brotherhood of man will be established. Having no other gods, turning to no other but the one perfect Mind to guide him, man is the likeness of God, pure and eternal, having that Mind which was also in Christ.
O Cristo era o Espírito que Jesus insinuou em suas próprias declarações: "Eu sou o caminho, a verdade e a vida"; "Eu e o Pai somos um". Este Cristo, ou divindade do homem Jesus, era o seu divino.
A natureza, a divindade que o animava. A Verdade Divina, a Vida e o Amor conferiram a Jesus autoridade sobre o pecado, a doença e a morte. Sua missão era revelar a Ciência do ser celestial, provar o que Deus é e o que Ele faz pelo homem.
The Christ was the Spirit which Jesus implied in his own statements: "I am the way, the truth, and the life;" "I and my Father are one." This Christ, or divinity of the man Jesus, was his divine nature, the godliness which animated him. Divine Truth, Life, and Love gave Jesus authority over sin, sickness, and death. His mission was to reveal the Science of celestial being, to prove what God is and what He does for man.
Jesus ensinou o caminho da Vida por meio de demonstrações, para que possamos compreender como esse Princípio divino cura os enfermos, expulsa o erro e triunfa sobre a morte. Jesus apresentou o ideal de Deus melhor do que qualquer homem cuja origem fosse menos espiritual.
Por sua obediência a Deus, ele demonstrou, mais espiritualmente do que todos os outros, o Princípio do Ser. Daí a força de sua reprimenda: "Se me amardes, guardareis os meus mandamentos".
Jesus taught the way of Life by demonstration, that we may understand how this divine Principle heals the sick, casts out error, and triumphs over death. Jesus presented the ideal of God better than could any man whose origin was less spiritual. By his obedience to God, he demonstrated more spiritually than all others the Principle of being. Hence the force of his admonition, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
O universo, assim como o homem, deve ser interpretado pela Ciência a partir de seu Princípio divino, Deus, e então poderá ser compreendido; mas quando explicado com base nos sentidos físicos e representado como sujeito a crescimento, maturidade e decadência, o universo, assim como o homem, é, e deve continuar sendo, um enigma.
Adesão, coesão e atração são propriedades da Mente. Pertencem ao Princípio divino e sustentam o equilíbrio daquela força mental que lançou a Terra em sua órbita e disse à onda orgulhosa: "Até aqui e não mais além".
O Espírito é a Vida, a Substância e a continuidade de todas as coisas. Nós agimos sobre forças. Se as retirarmos, a criação entrará em colapso. O conhecimento humano as chama de forças da matéria; mas a Ciência divina declara que elas pertencem inteiramente à Mente divina, são inerentes a essa Mente, e assim as restitui ao seu devido lugar e classificação.
The universe, like man, is to be interpreted by Science from its divine Principle, God, and then it can be understood; but when explained on the basis of physical sense and represented as subject to growth, maturity, and decay, the universe, like man, is, and must continue to be, an enigma.
Adhesion, cohesion, and attraction are properties of Mind. They belong to divine Principle, and support the equipoise of that thought-force, which launched the earth in its orbit and said to the proud wave, "Thus far and no farther."
Spirit is the life, substance, and continuity of all things. We tread on forces. Withdraw them, and creation must collapse. Human knowledge calls them forces of matter; but divine Science declares that they belong wholly to divine Mind, are inherent in this Mind, and so restores them to their rightful home and classification.
A Mente é o Princípio divino, o Amor, e não pode produzir nada diferente do eterno Pai-Mãe, Deus. A realidade é espiritual, harmoniosa, imutável, imortal, divina e eterna.
Nada que não seja espiritual pode ser real, harmonioso ou eterno.
Mind is the divine Principle, Love, and can produce nothing unlike the eternal Father-Mother, God. Reality is spiritual, harmonious, immutable, immortal, divine, eternal. Nothing unspiritual can be real, harmonious, or eternal.
Se Deus for reconhecido como a única Mente e Vida, não haverá mais espaço para o pecado e a morte. Quando aprendemos na Ciência como ser perfeitos, assim como nosso Pai celestial é perfeito, o pensamento se direciona para novos e saudáveis caminhos – para a contemplação das coisas imortais e para longe da materialidade, em direção ao Princípio do universo, incluindo o homem harmonioso.
Crenças materiais e compreensão espiritual nunca se misturam.Este último destrói o primeiro. A discórdia é o nada chamado erro. A harmonia é o algo chamado Verdade.
If God is admitted to be the only Mind and Life, there ceases to be any opportunity for sin and death. When we learn in Science how to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect, thought is turned into new and healthy channels, — towards the contemplation of things immortal and away from materiality to the Principle of the universe, including harmonious man.
Material beliefs and spiritual understanding never mingle. The latter destroys the former. Discord is the nothingness named error. Harmony is the somethingness named Truth.
... O homem harmonioso e imortal existe desde sempre e está sempre além e acima da ilusão mortal de qualquer vida, substância e inteligência existentes na matéria. Esta afirmação baseia-se em fatos, não em fábulas. A Ciência do Ser revela o homem como perfeito, assim como o Pai é perfeito, porque a Alma, ou Mente, do homem espiritual é Deus, o Princípio divino de todo o ser, e porque este homem real é governado pela Alma em vez dos sentidos, pela lei do Espírito, e não pelas chamadas leis da matéria.
Deus é Amor.
…harmonious and immortal man has existed forever, and is always beyond and above the mortal illusion of any life, substance, and intelligence as existent in matter. This statement is based on fact, not fable. The Science of being reveals man as perfect, even as the Father is perfect, because the Soul, or Mind, of the spiritual man is God, the divine Principle of all being, and because this real man is governed by Soul instead of sense, by the law of Spirit, not by the so-called laws of matter.
God is Love.
Deus dá a ideia menor de Si mesmo como uma ligação com a maior e, em troca, o superior sempre protege o inferior.
Os ricos em espírito ajudam os pobres em uma grande fraternidade, todos partindo do mesmo Princípio, ou Pai; e abençoado é aquele que vê a necessidade do seu irmão e a supre, buscando o seu próprio bem no bem do outro.
O amor concede à menor ideia espiritual, poder, imortalidade e bondade, que resplandecem em tudo como a flor resplandece através do botão.
Todas as variadas expressões de Deus refletem saúde, santidade, imortalidade – Vida infinita, Verdade e Amor.
God gives the lesser idea of Himself for a link to the greater, and in return, the higher always protects the lower. The rich in spirit help the poor in one grand brotherhood, all having the same Principle, or Father; and blessed is that man who seeth his brother's need and supplieth it, seeking his own in another's good. Love giveth to the least spiritual idea might, immortality, and goodness, which shine through all as the blossom shines through the bud. All the varied expressions of God reflect health, holiness, immortality — infinite Life, Truth, and Love.
Com um só Pai, o próprio Deus, toda a família humana seria composta de irmãos; e com uma só Mente e esse Deus, ou o bem, a fraternidade humana consistiria em Amor e Verdade, e teria unidade de Princípio e poder espiritual que constituem a Ciência divina.
With one Father, even God, the whole family of man would be brethren; and with one Mind and that God, or good, the brotherhood of man would consist of Love and Truth, and have unity of Principle and spiritual power which constitute divine Science.
"Não temais, pequeno rebanho, pois é do agrado do vosso Pai dar-vos o reino." Esta verdade é a Ciência Cristã.
"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." This truth is Christian Science.
Será dever de cada membro desta Igreja orar todos os dias: "Venha o Teu reino"; que o reinado da Verdade, da Vida e do Amor divinos se estabeleça em mim e expulse de mim todo pecado; e que a Tua Palavra enriqueça os afetos de toda a humanidade e os governe! — Manual da Igreja, Artigo VIII, Seção 4
Nem a animosidade nem o mero apego pessoal devem impelir os motivos ou atos dos membros da Igreja Mãe. Na Ciência, somente o Amor divino governa o homem; e um Cientista Cristão reflete as doces comodidades do Amor, repreendendo o pecado, na verdadeira fraternidade, caridade e perdão. Os membros desta Igreja devem vigiar e orar diariamente para serem libertos de todo mal, de profetizar, julgar, condenar, aconselhar, influenciar ou serem influenciados erroneamente. — Manual da Igreja, Artigo VIII, Seção 1
Será dever de cada membro desta Igreja defender-se diariamente contra a sugestão mental agressiva, e não ser levado a esquecer ou negligenciar seu dever para com Deus, seu líder e a humanidade. Por suas obras, ele será julgado — e justificado ou condenado. — Manual da Igreja, Artigo VIII, Seção 6.
“Cientistas cristãos, estabeleçam para vocês mesmos uma lei: que a negligência mental não possa causar dano a vocês, nem quando estiverem dormindo, nem quando estiverem acordados.” — (S&H, pág. 442)
