1. E acontecerá que, se ouvires atentamente a voz do Senhor teu Deus, tendo cuidado de cumprir todos os seus mandamentos:
2. Todas estas bênçãos virão sobre ti e te alcançarão, se ouvires a voz do Senhor teu Deus.
3. Bendito serás na cidade e bendito serás no campo .
4. Bendito será o fruto do teu ventre, e o fruto da tua terra, e o fruto dos teus animais, a cria das tuas vacas e os rebanhos das tuas ovelhas.
5. Bendito seja o teu cesto e a tua provisão.
6. Bendito serás quando entrares e bendito serás quando saires .
9. O Senhor te estabelecerá como povo santo para Si, como te jurou, se guardares os mandamentos do Senhor teu Deus e andares nos Seus caminhos.
1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments:
2. All these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

SERMÃO DA LIÇÃO
1 Como a corça anseia pelas correntes de água, assim a minha alma anseia por ti, ó Deus.
2 A minha alma tem sede de Deus, do Deus vivo.
3 As minhas lágrimas têm sido o meu alimento dia e noite, enquanto me dizem continuamente: Onde está o teu Deus?
8 Contudo, o Senhor demonstrará a sua misericórdia durante o dia, e à noite o seu cântico estará comigo, é a minha oração ao Deus da minha vida.
11 Por que estás abatida, ó minha alma? E por que te perturbas dentro de mim? Espera em Deus, pois ainda O louvarei, a Ele que é a saúde do meu rosto e o meu Deus.
1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
20 O senhor de José o prendeu e o colocou na prisão, no lugar onde ficavam os prisioneiros do rei ; e ele ficou ali na prisão.
21 Mas o Senhor estava com José e lhe mostrou misericórdia,
20 Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

1 E aconteceu que, ao fim de dois longos anos, o Faraó sonhou:
9 Então o copeiro-chefe falou ao faraó, dizendo:
12 ... estava conosco um jovem hebreu, ... e ele interpretou os nossos sonhos;
14 Então o Faraó mandou chamar José, e o trouxeram às pressas da prisão.
15 E o Faraó disse a José: Tive um sonho, e não há ninguém que o possa interpretar; e ouvi dizer de ti que tens discernimento para o interpretar.
16 E José respondeu a Faraó, dizendo: Não depende de mim; Deus dará ao Faraó uma resposta de paz.
25 Então José disse a Faraó: O sonho de Faraó é um só: Deus mostrou ao Faraó o que ele está para fazer.
37 E a coisa pareceu boa aos olhos do Faraó e aos olhos de todos os seus servos.
38 Então Faraó disse aos seus servos: "Poderemos encontrar alguém como este , um homem em quem o Espírito de Deus esteja?"
39 E o Faraó disse a José: Visto que Deus te revelou tudo isso, não há ninguém tão prudente e sábio como tu ;

9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying,
12 … there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, … and he interpreted to us our dreams;
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon:

1 Seis dias antes da Páscoa, Jesus chegou a Betânia, onde estava Lázaro, que havia morrido, e a quem ele ressuscitou dos mortos.

28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
8 Disse-lhe Filipe: Senhor, mostra-nos o Pai, e isso nos basta.
9 Disse-lhe Jesus: Há tanto tempo Eu estou convosco, e ainda não me conheceis, Filipe? Quem vê a mim vê o Pai; como dizes tu , pois : Mostra-nos o Pai?
10 Não crês tu que Eu estou no Pai, e que o Pai está em mim? As palavras que Eu vos digo não as digo por mim mesmo; mas o Pai, que permanece em mim, é quem realiza as suas obras.
11 Creiam em mim quando Eu digo que Eu estou no Pai e que o Pai está em mim; ou então creiam pelas obras.
12 Em verdade, em verdade Eu vos digo que aquele que crê em mim fará também as obras que Eu faço e as fará maiores do que estas, porque Eu vou para o Pai.
13 E tudo o que pedirdes em meu nome, Eu o farei, para que o Pai seja glorificado no Filho.

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

6 Porquanto foi Deus quem ordenou: Das trevas resplandeça a luz! É ele quem resplandece nos nossos corações, para dar Luz ao conhecimento da glória de Deus na face de Jesus Cristo.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
A vida, a verdade e o amor são onipotentes e sempre presentes;
Life, Truth, and Love are all-powerful and ever-present;
Quando o homem é governado por Deus, a Mente que está sempre presente e que compreende todas as coisas, o homem sabe que com Deus tudo é possível. O único caminho para esta Verdade viva, que cura os enfermos, encontra-se na Ciência da Mente divina, conforme ensinada e demonstrada por Cristo Jesus.
When man is governed by God, the ever-present Mind who understands all things, man knows that with God all things are possible. The only way to this living Truth, which heals the sick, is found in the Science of divine Mind as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus.
Pergunta : Como posso progredir mais rapidamente na compreensão da Ciência Cristã?
Resposta : Estude atentamente a letra e impfregnada pelo espírito. Apegue-se ao princípio divino da Ciência Cristã e siga os mandamentos de Deus, permanecendo firme na sabedoria, na verdade e no amor. Na Ciência da Mente, você logo perceberá que o erro não pode destruir o erro. Você também aprenderá que, na Ciência, não há transferência de sugestões malignas de um mortal para outro, pois existe apenas uma Mente, e essa Mente onipotente e sempre presente se reflete no homem e governa todo o universo. Question. — How can I progress most rapidly in the understanding of Christian Science?
Answer. — Study thoroughly the letter and imbibe the spirit. Adhere to the divine Principle of Christian Science and follow the behests of God, abiding steadfastly in wisdom, Truth, and Love. In the Science of Mind, you will soon ascertain that error cannot destroy error. You will also learn that in Science there is no transfer of evil suggestions from one mortal to another, for there is but one Mind, and this ever-present omnipotent Mind is reflected by man and governs the entire universe. You will learn that in Christian Science the first duty is to obey God, to have one Mind, and to love another as yourself.
We all must learn that Life is God. Ask yourself: Am I living the life that approaches the supreme good? Am I demonstrating the healing power of Truth and Love? If so, then the way will grow brighter "unto the perfect day." Your fruits will prove what the understanding of God brings to man.
A verdadeira sabedoria é considerar-se superior ao pecado, porque Deus governa o homem e o fez superior ao pecado. Temer o pecado é não compreender o poder do Amor e da Ciência divina do ser, na relação do homem com Deus — é duvidar de Seu governo e desconfiar de Seu cuidado onipotente. Considerar-se superior à doença e à morte é igualmente sábio e está de acordo com a Ciência divina. Temê-las é impossível quando se compreende plenamente a Deus e se sabe que elas não fazem parte de Sua criação.
A menos que um mal seja enfrentado corretamente e vencido de forma justa pela Verdade, ele jamais será vencido. ... Se Deus não cura os enfermos, eles não serão curados, pois nenhum poder menor se iguala ao Todo-Poder infinito; mas Deus, Verdade, Vida, Amor, cura os enfermos por meio da oração dos justos.
To hold yourself superior to sin, because God made you superior to it and governs man, is true wisdom. To fear sin is to misunderstand the power of Love and the divine Science of being in man's relation to God, — to doubt His government and distrust His omnipotent care. To hold yourself superior to sickness and death is equally wise, and is in accordance with divine Science. To fear them is impossible, when you fully apprehend God and know that they are no part of His creation.
Unless an ill is rightly met and fairly overcome by Truth, the ill is never conquered. … If God heals not the sick, they are not healed, for no lesser power equals the infinite All-power; but God, Truth, Life, Love, does heal the sick through the prayer of the righteous.
Quais são os motivos para a oração? Oramos para nos tornarmos melhores ou para beneficiar aqueles que nos ouvem, para iluminar o infinito ou para sermos ouvidos pelos homens? What are the motives for prayer? Do we pray to make ourselves better or to benefit those who hear us, to enlighten the infinite or to be heard of men? Are we benefited by praying? Yes, the desire which goes forth hungering after righteousness is blessed of our Father, and it does not return unto us void.
Se não ansiamos secretamente e não nos esforçamos abertamente para alcançar tudo o que pedimos, nossas orações são "vãs repetições", como as que os pagãos costumam usar. Se nossas petições são sinceras, trabalhamos por aquilo que pedimos; e nosso Pai, que vê em segredo, nos recompensará publicamente. Será que a mera expressão pública de nossos desejos pode aumentá-los? Conquistamos a atenção onipotente mais facilmente por meio de palavras do que por meio de pensamentos? Mesmo que a oração seja sincera, Deus conhece nossa necessidade antes mesmo de a expressarmos a Ele ou aos nossos semelhantes. Se cultivarmos o desejo com honestidade, silêncio e humildade, Deus o abençoará, e correremos menos risco de sufocar nossos verdadeiros anseios com uma torrente de palavras.
If we are not secretly yearning and openly striving for the accomplishment of all we ask, our prayers are "vain repetitions," such as the heathen use. If our petitions are sincere, we labor for what we ask; and our Father, who seeth in secret, will reward us openly. Can the mere public expression of our desires increase them? Do we gain the omnipotent ear sooner by words than by thoughts? Even if prayer is sincere, God knows our need before we tell Him or our fellow-beings about it. If we cherish the desire honestly and silently and humbly, God will bless it, and we shall incur less risk of overwhelming our real wishes with a torrent of words.
Os efeitos da Ciência Cristã não são tanto vistos, mas sentidos. É a "voz mansa e delicada" da Verdade se manifestando. Ou nos afastamos dessa voz, ou a ouvimos e nos elevamos a um nível mais alto.
The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt. It is the "still, small voice" of Truth uttering itself. We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.
A menos que a harmonia e a imortalidade do homem se tornem mais evidentes, não alcançaremos a verdadeira ideia de Deus; e o corpo refletirá o que o governa, seja a Verdade ou o erro, o entendimento ou a crença, o Espírito ou a matéria. Portanto, "conhece-o agora e tenha paz". Seja vigilante, sóbrio e atento. O caminho, que leva à compreensão de que Deus é a única Vida, é estreito e apertado. É uma guerra contra a carne, na qual devemos vencer o pecado, a doença e a morte, seja aqui ou na vida após a morte — certamente antes de podermos alcançar a meta do Espírito, ou a vida em Deus.
Unless the harmony and immortality of man are becoming more apparent, we are not gaining the true idea of God; and the body will reflect what governs it, whether it be Truth or error, understanding or belief, Spirit or matter. Therefore "acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace." Be watchful, sober, and vigilant. The way is straight and narrow, which leads to the understanding that God is the only Life. It is a warfare with the flesh, in which we must conquer sin, sickness, and death, either here or hereafter, — certainly before we can reach the goal of Spirit, or life in God.
O propósito e a motivação para viver corretamente podem ser alcançados agora. Com esse ponto conquistado, você começou como deveria. Você começou na tabela de numeração da Ciência Cristã, e nada além de intenções errôneas pode impedir seu progresso. Trabalhando e orando com motivações verdadeiras, seu Pai abrirá o caminho. The purpose and motive to live aright can be gained now. This point won, you have started as you should. You have begun at the numeration-table of Christian Science, and nothing but wrong intention can hinder your advancement. Working and praying with true motives, your Father will open the way. "Who did hinder you, that ye should not obey the truth?"
À medida que os mortais abandonam a ilusão de que existe mais de uma Mente, mais de um Deus, o homem à semelhança de Deus surgirá, e esse homem eterno não incluirá nessa semelhança nenhum elemento material.
À medida que a base material e teórica da vida se revela uma incompreensão da existência, o Princípio espiritual e divino do homem desponta no pensamento humano, conduzindo-o "ao ponto de partida de criança" — até mesmo ao nascimento de uma velha-nova ideia, para o sentido espiritual do ser e daquilo que a Vida abrange. As mortals give up the delusion that there is more than one Mind, more than one God, man in God's likeness will appear, and this eternal man will include in that likeness no material element.
As a material, theoretical life-basis is found to be a misapprehension of existence, the spiritual and divine Principle of man dawns upon human thought, and leads it to "where the young child was," — even to the birth of a new-old idea, to the spiritual sense of being and of what Life includes. Thus the whole earth will be transformed by Truth on its pinions of light, chasing away the darkness of error.
The human thought must free itself from self-imposed materiality and bondage.
O Princípio e a ideia divinos constituem a harmonia espiritual — o céu e a eternidade. No universo da Verdade, a matéria é desconhecida. Nenhuma suposição de erro entra ali. A Ciência Divina, a Palavra de Deus, diz à escuridão que se apresenta diante do erro: "Deus é Tudo em tudo", e a luz do Amor sempre presente ilumina o universo. Daí a eterna maravilha: que o espaço infinito seja povoado pelas ideias de Deus, refletindo-O em inúmeras formas espirituais.
The divine Principle and idea constitute spiritual harmony, — heaven and eternity. In the universe of Truth, matter is unknown. No supposition of error enters there. Divine Science, the Word of God, saith to the darkness upon the face of error, "God is All-in-all," and the light of ever-present Love illumines the universe. Hence the eternal wonder, — that infinite space is peopled with God's ideas, reflecting Him in countless spiritual forms.
O homem e seu Criador estão correlacionados na Ciência divina, e a verdadeira consciência só tem conhecimento das coisas de Deus.
Man and his Maker are correlated in divine Science, and real consciousness is cognizant only of the things of God.

Nem a animosidade nem o mero apego pessoal devem impelir os motivos ou atos dos membros da Igreja Mãe.
